RC Year 8's Charity Rough Sleep 2014

Sleeping Rough so others don't have to. Homelessness is a sad reality for a growing number of people living in Britain, both young and old. With rising house prices and an increase in the cost of living, many people are being forced from their homes to survive on the streets or rely on the support of hostels and soup kitchens. Richard Challoner Year 8 students will be sleeping rough on Friday 9th May 2014 to raise money to prevent others having to.

Design Ideas

ONLY 6 sleeps to go...... I am sure next Saturday we are going to have some very tired year 8 students and staff!!! Please take a look below at some ideas for cardboard shelters by year 8 students this week - very creative but I am not sure of their feasibility! Year 8 are busy raising money this weekend so a big good luck to all, every penny counts to our fantastic charity.
