RC Year 8's Charity Rough Sleep 2014

Sleeping Rough so others don't have to. Homelessness is a sad reality for a growing number of people living in Britain, both young and old. With rising house prices and an increase in the cost of living, many people are being forced from their homes to survive on the streets or rely on the support of hostels and soup kitchens. Richard Challoner Year 8 students will be sleeping rough on Friday 9th May 2014 to raise money to prevent others having to.

I (Mrs Owen) have just been down to Radio Jackie - Tolworth to do a short pre-recorded interview about the Rough Sleep 2014. Tune in tomorrow evening to hear updates about our event and maybe hear what I have to say! We are hoping to have a year 8 student speak on the radio tomorrow night, keeping viewers updated about the evening. Thank you Mrs Boulden and Miss Glassett for arranging this.
